Our
purpose
We are an initiative dedicated to revitalizing the ancestral knowledge of indigenous peoples in Mexico and Latin America.

We promote the preservation of indigenous cultures through education, technology, and community experiences that empower new generations.
Our history
Education + Culture + Technology
Kukulmat is a project that was born in 2017 in Chiapas with the purpose of empowering children and young people from indigenous communities to break the cycle of inequality of opportunity through reconnection with their roots .
We seek to preserve culture, revitalize traditions, and share ancestral knowledge of indigenous cultures using new technologies.

Our pillars
Roots
We rescue ancestral Mayan knowledge, reconnecting new generations with their history and strengthening their cultural identity.
Education
Learning math through the Mayan numeral system is fun and meaningful. We believe education is a powerful tool for change and empowerment.
Culture
We preserve and share the indigenous legacy through play, ensuring that traditions and knowledge remain alive for future generations.
Technology
We bring virtual reality and digital tools to marginalized communities, blending the past with the future to create new opportunities.
Bridging cultures,
preserving languages
